Yes, I’m also from India. I think what most people are not getting right is that they need to integrate wherever they go, otherwise everyday will pull you closer to a black hole and one day you’ll fall into it. If one goes to USA and only mingle with Indians, it would still suck. English surely helps, but they still need to go through the integration process for their own benefit. Otherwise the black hole is just around the corner.

I’m in a similar situation and I think the only good option is to go back(even though it sucks). Trust me, starting life from scratch in another country with zero motivation is not going to work. Either you need to be super motivated or super rich. Feel free to DM :)
I’d definitely not compare with others. This is the thing I learnt the hardest. How long will you survive comparing? Now the comparison is between you and friends, next in line is your richest friend, then the mayor, then the governor and then the president and then? Umm, Elon Musk, and ?

Honestly, it sounds like Paris/France is sucking out more energy than needed. Nothing is worth peace of mind. If the place is somehow stopping you from being you, it is sensible to go back quickly. After all, for how long can you tolerate this? 5 years, 10 years, 30 years,…?

I remember looking up something like you need 1M$ or so to be eligible for an EB-5 visa or something. Also you can’t really earn from a side hustle while on H1B. TBVH it feels like the US simply set up the H1B visa only to bring in cheap labour and keep them tied up for as long as possible(very true in case of Indians).
Yes, I live in Stockholm. I also lived earlier in Malmo and Gothenburg and I somehow feel Stockholm is better(subjective opinion though).

The only reason being way too many Indians have gone to the US. It was my dream too, but I dropped realising I will not get a chance at the GC, and will spend many years if not decades in the queue. Hence I decided to give EU a shot. I guess other Indians also had the same in mind and hence moved to EU.
