  • I moved abroad to finish my master when I was still dating my abusive ex. He never made any effort to Skype, never visited, barely lifted a finger when I came back for the holidays… His reasoning?

“Well, YOU decided to leave. I shouldn’t change my life to accommodate for a decision YOU took”.

I have the feeling your family might share the same sentiment. Sure, they miss you. Sure, they would rather have you back. But they won’t spend a single penny nor make any effort right now because you living abroad is something you decided, not them.

  • Wait a second, are there people who hose down their bathrooms?

You evacuate in the toilet bowl & then flush. You take a shower and the water&filth go down the shower drain. What else do you have on your floors for you to need to hose them down?

Also… Wipes? What do you do with wipes? Do you mean to clean your ass? Not the floors, right?

Is that why you want a drain in the bathroom? To hose your ass? Can’t you get into the shower to do it?

Is sweeping and mopping not a thing in your culture? I’m so confused, but I find it amazing!

  • I can totally imagine actual people fine tuning the IA to adjust it to different cultures. As in:

Allow for % possibility of their yes meaning “no” as a default. % increases by x% in the following events (insert societal norms). Add X% based on how many seconds pass between the request and the theoretical agreement. Other things to consider: rank of those asking/receiving orders, witness yes/no, etc. Once you get an estimated percentage of possible “deniability” on a supposedly agreed task, correlate the percentage to this particular frequency of reminders.
