I wouid avoid the us because of healthcare. Canada wouid be a good pick

Once again, what do you base that on? In 2022, 92.1 percent of people, or 304.0 million, had health insurance at some point during the year. I would assume that most of these people had health insurance through their job.
What is stressing you out exactly?
My house was built in 1967.

Is bureaucracy a bad thing?
I was just told by a German on another subreddit that “95% of the houses built in the us would be illegal for safety reasons in Germany”.
Is Germany more bureaucratic?
Yes
But if that results in a safer, more just society then that is good.
This is silly. Civil rights laws, contact laws, etc.
Plus the safety of no guns and better healthcare. Walkable cities.

You can only miss so many Xmas, thanksgiving, and birthday celebrations before they do.
Is the furniture you are taking heirlooms or has some sort of sentimental value?
Or go to HR block and have them do your taxes. It is easy and low stress
I like living in the us. I guess that makes me an outlier here.
I want to retire for stretches of time outside the us, but this is my home.
