Hi, I know this question may get asked a lot but I’m wondering; when you think about all the places and the experience you had there as a whole (scenery, people, laws, culture, etc) what takes the cake as the closest to perfect?

I know perfection isn’t a thing when it comes to being an expat, but I’m sure you’ve felt once before “if it had just this one thing it would be perfect”

I think mine would be Ikaria, Greece.

California. People are easy to get along and are welcoming, can’t complain about weather, nature. Love bright and spacious houses. Love that I can garden year around but also not living completely rural. Husband loves outdoor sports opportunities.

Good options to send kids to local colleges and for jobs.

A bit far to travel to popular destinations like Europe or Asia or Australia.

But mostly it is perfect because it has become my home. And I would also be equally content in many other places: I try to see positives about any area I decided to call home.
