    You could get Spanish citizenship with 2 years living in Spain, because your original citizenship is Latin American, but you’re not currently a Spanish resident so your time in Germany would have no bearing on that as far as I know.

    If your 3 years in Germany counts toward German citizenship requirements, it may be best to stay there to apply. If it doesn’t, the 2 year Spanish pathway is a good opportunity.

    Honestly, do more basic research outside of Reddit about nationality laws. Every situation is highly specific. If you have recent Spanish ancestry, ley de memoria democrática is an option.
