We (50F, 51M, 11g and 11b) live in the south of Spain now. Very happily.

I live in a small town in Spain filled with Brits and the same thing surprises me. Even more, the total lack of interest in LEARNING THE LANGUAGE and instead looking for all types of professionals or stores that speak English.
anyhow, I’m also a migrant and my “old country’s people” also struggle to socialize and adapt to food or culture.
I tend to avoid them as much as I can. I want to feel more like a local and not be an outsider forever…
