TUN/TAP network interfaces are done in software and as such will always be limited, usually 200mbps up+down per connection

Having the exit node as close to you as possible helps, but other than that not much else you can do

When arriving in a new city, do your prior research and know how to get where you’re going in the safest possible way and ffs research the area you’re staying in, especially for longer stays (1mth +)

You pay taxes based on residency, where you currently are doesnt matter as long as you’re legal (ie, tourist visa or nomad visa)

Unless your job is willing to accommodate and open offices in all the countries that you’re in (highly highly unlikely) then that’s the only way

If you live in a high income tax country, it sucks, but it offers protection if SHTF

- Digital Ocean has (had?) plans for $5USD a month

- Develop local and use ngrok + dynamic dns to demo when needed, even an RPI is good enough for a few docker containers

- free tier on AWS and other cloud providers, but be very very careful and use this as a last option since its so ridiculously easy to burn yourself
