I have no clue what your specialization is if it’s just international studies, but if you’re interested into bridging into political work/advocacy, I recommend finding a small nonprofit that works in coalitions. You can use that opportunity to work with and network with other groups who may be hiring when you graduate. That’s how I got my job postgrad, and that’s how I ended up well connected with big NGOs in DC in the international political sphere. Start small.
