Unbelievably happy in Finland. I can never see myself returning to the U.S.

My husband just went back to the US alone for 2 weeks. He had his 40th high school reunion to attend, plus he and his brother had some decisions to make about their elderly mom. I’m in an intensive language class in our new country and couldn’t miss 2 weeks of school, plus I had no desire nor need to go. It was an easy decision for him to go alone.

We are so damn happy to be out of the US. FOREVER.
