    1. Ukraine (before war)
    2. Thailand (after 2022)

The main difference between the two is that in Ukraine every single foreign guy I met was there for the girls/sex. In Thailand there are tons of sex tourists in Pattaya and even in Bangkok but many other people are there for the tourism, for working as digital nomads, to build local business, and enjoy the beautiful islands.

Honorable mentions: other countries in SEA although to a lesser extent than Thailand.

  • Definitely not Italy (I’m Italian) and based on my experience not in any of the countries you mentioned. Contrary to popular stereotypes, most of the people from these countries aren’t really friendly and open to meet foreigners. The culture is based on small social circles that date back to high school if not before. There isn’t much intermingling between groups…usually you get to know other women because you get introduced to them by a common friend. So, if you’re looking to party to meet women you’re out of luck there.

Also people are very “morti di figa” meaning they’re so desperate for women’s attention that they don’t want more male competition inside their groups which complicate matters even more for somebody who is an outsider.

If you’re very good looking you can try online dating, otherwise it’s a big pass.

  • As if you can enjoy the weather in Denmark or in North Europe during the winter when outside is -5°C and gloomy. I’d rather take the Dubai summers which I don’t like but I still prefer compared to freezing, gloomy and dark winters that force you to stay inside in a depressing mood.

And 400k after tax in Europe is 1st percentile. Hardly believable unless you live in Switzerland. In Dubai you can make lots of money as an expat because they offer huge compensation packages to attract foreign high skills workers and because you can invest the money you save each month and don’t have to pay any capital gain taxes on your investments. That’s not the case in Europe.

  • That doesn’t account for illegals lol, do you even know how many illegals are in the US? Tens of millions, mostly in big cities.

Here is the demographic composition about NYC (not including the illegals):

The city’s population in 2020 was 30.9% White (non-Hispanic), 28.7% Hispanic or Latino, 20.2% Black or African American (non-Hispanic), 15.6% Asian, and 0.2% Native American (non-Hispanic). A total of 3.4% of the non-Hispanic population identified with more than one race.[48]

If you include illegals, the % of whites is no more than 25% and most of them are in Staten Island.

Here is the data about Miami (not including illegals):

    - Latino: 70,2%

    - White: 14%

    - Black: 11,9%

    - Asian: 1,3%

    Ecc

Here is the demographic composition of Chicago (not including illegals):

The racial makeup of the city in 2020 was 35.9% White, 29.2% Black, 7% Asian, 1.3% Native American or Alaska Native, 10.8% from two or more races, and 15.8% from some other race.

Here is the demographic composition of Houston (not including illegals):

    - Latinos: 44%

    - Whites: 23,7%

    - Blacks: 22,1%

    Ecc

Here is the demographic composition of Los Angeles (not including illegals):

The racial/ethnic/cultural composition of Los Angeles as of 2020, according to DEC redistricting data, was as follows:[2]
Hispanic or Latino (of any race): 46.9%
White (alone, not Hispanic or Latino): 28.9%
    Asian (alone): 11.7%
Black or African American (alone): 8.3%
    Two or more races: 3.3%
    Other (alone): 0.7%
    Native American (alone): 0.2%
Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander (alone): 0.1%

And btw these numbers always point in the same direction, whites are trending down more and more each year. If you consider under 18yo the % of whites is less than the official one reported in every city.

Whites in the US are the majority only in rural areas.

  • Bullshit, I live in Dubai and the bad weather is only during summer, 5 months per year. You don’t stay outside much during that period but that doesn’t mean you stay inside your apartment lol. You take a taxi or your car and you can go enjoying life in many bars or entertainment spots that Dubai offers. Winter is amazing in Dubai.

You have crap weather in Northern Europe too in winter when it’s always cold and gloomy and I’d say is worse than the summer in Dubai.

Salaries in Dubai are extremely high, especially for foreigners that work in the IT or engineering fields. I earn almost 20,000€ per month working in cybersecurity. Zero taxes.

There is an amazing food scene, it’s incredibly safe, the airport is one of the most well connected in the world…you can literally fly everywhere you want during weekends because your salary allow you to do it if you want. In Europe you can’t do it because it’s barely enough to make ends meet. There are so many entertainment options in Dubai and a thriving expat community.

  • Yes indeed if you live in a big condo, your apartment can have roaches, even if it’s clean, if other tenants keep theirs dirty. It happened to me in Gramercy Residence in Manila for example, the receptionist told me they routinely spray the entire building but if people keep their apartments dirty, roaches and other insects eventually return.

So, in big condos, especially if not new, you can find roaches even if you’re clean. But despite this, I rarely found them…maybe I got lucky.

If somebody is very scared by roaches, he/she can spray the perimeter of his apartment with an anti-roaches spray so they don’t get scared
