I’m sorry some of us aren’t nice.

I do the exact same thing, I’m from Vancouver Canada but live with my wife in her hometown in Germany, it’s pretty expensive to travel back to Canada for two people so I usually go alone unless there is an event like a wedding or something.

Being apart in a relationship is good I think sometimes, we are still connected at anytime through our phones but sometimes it’s good to just be without your spouse for a week or so.

It’s hard to explain the power of homesickness to someone who’s never had it, so she understands and I feel after the trip is over and I’m back home our relationship is better.
