This is kind of my fear, though.

Would skip Costa Rica and only do 1 week in Antigua. The cities are more fun and deserve longer stays

I’m a product manager and don’t see that being replaced anytime soon due to the inherent human nature of the job.

I work 3hrs time difference from Europe: it’s doable but anything more would be a huge annoyance.

You literally can’t do anything social during the week. Now, if you don’t crave that, fine. But it can get lonely very fast, especially if you don’t know anyone.
