Hi, I know this question may get asked a lot but I’m wondering; when you think about all the places and the experience you had there as a whole (scenery, people, laws, culture, etc) what takes the cake as the closest to perfect?

I know perfection isn’t a thing when it comes to being an expat, but I’m sure you’ve felt once before “if it had just this one thing it would be perfect”

I think mine would be Ikaria, Greece.

    Singapore

I adore it there, the people are my favourite part - they’re mostly introverted and can appear quite standoffish; but they’re really kind, sweet, funny and generally wonderful folks. The city itself is boring to some, but as someone who doesn’t drink/party, it’s perfect for me. Walkable with a great MRT, world-class food scene, lots of nature despite the tiny size (even a good set of mountain bike trails), and a ton of cultural diversity.

I’d love to get PR there if it wasn’t such an impossible process, and if it wasn’t insanely expensive haha.
