I am 25 and currently live in England. My closest (and only) friends live in the states. I travel to them for a few weeks each year but I would like to move out there and be with them - as the travelling is getting to be a bit much and very expensive.

I did not do well in school and have been working in a customer service job for the same clothing company for 5 years. I don’t have any commitments here and can just pack up and leave at anytime, really.

My friends are moving out in a few months and have said I can move in and live with them (they’ve been begging me to move to the states for years). So I will have somewhere to live when I get there.

I will be visiting them again in April for 3 weeks. 1 week in Colorado and 2 weeks in Nebraska. Nebraska is the state I would be moving to.

How could I make this possible? Would it be best to do a working visa or is there another visa type I should apply for?

America is a lot more expensive than the UK. If you have no savings / on a minimum wage job you’d struggle

You sound like you have no special qualifications/skills to qualify for a visa

The reality is, you are not moving to the USA anytime soon.
