I am 25 and currently live in England. My closest (and only) friends live in the states. I travel to them for a few weeks each year but I would like to move out there and be with them - as the travelling is getting to be a bit much and very expensive.
I did not do well in school and have been working in a customer service job for the same clothing company for 5 years. I don’t have any commitments here and can just pack up and leave at anytime, really.
My friends are moving out in a few months and have said I can move in and live with them (they’ve been begging me to move to the states for years). So I will have somewhere to live when I get there.
I will be visiting them again in April for 3 weeks. 1 week in Colorado and 2 weeks in Nebraska. Nebraska is the state I would be moving to.
How could I make this possible? Would it be best to do a working visa or is there another visa type I should apply for?
How does one move to the states and become “afflicted with mental illness”?
Respectfully, this is your third post on this, all of which are genuinely unhelpful and making the states look worse than it is.
Each state has its problem but dang. All you had to say was “be safe”, not tell them to not move because their friends will pit up and leave them.
You have this context, this post. No idea what this person is living or experiencing. Moving countries such as that is already hard enough without telling this poor 25 year old that moving 4000 miles is a waste because their friends will leave them.
I do agree with not staying over your visa.
