I am 25 and currently live in England. My closest (and only) friends live in the states. I travel to them for a few weeks each year but I would like to move out there and be with them - as the travelling is getting to be a bit much and very expensive.

I did not do well in school and have been working in a customer service job for the same clothing company for 5 years. I don’t have any commitments here and can just pack up and leave at anytime, really.

My friends are moving out in a few months and have said I can move in and live with them (they’ve been begging me to move to the states for years). So I will have somewhere to live when I get there.

I will be visiting them again in April for 3 weeks. 1 week in Colorado and 2 weeks in Nebraska. Nebraska is the state I would be moving to.

How could I make this possible? Would it be best to do a working visa or is there another visa type I should apply for?

Frankly its a bad call to move to be with friends, sure you are only 25 now but once everyone pairs up and gets married you’ll never see them

Very very accurate, that’s exactly what I saw happening around me and around all the people I know and have talked to about this. Not worth moving to another country just for friends.
