I just read a long thread about all of the things US expats miss about life in the US. I thought it would be interesting to ask about the opposite: What do you NOT miss about life in the US?
• Paranoia about being shot in crowded public places and always checking for an exit
• Having to watch my mouth when I say something remotely political because people are aggressive and always ready to jump down one another’s throat
• Going out to a simple dinner costing half a paycheck
