I just read a long thread about all of the things US expats miss about life in the US. I thought it would be interesting to ask about the opposite: What do you NOT miss about life in the US?

Things that I don’t miss
--The gun stuff
--That on guard walking home at night downtown especially in places with high numbers of aggressive homeless people
--Less integration of kids and families into public spaces
--Tipping culture
--Frigid weather
The gun stuff is really just the Christian anti gay butt stuff
