I’m from Bolivia, I’ve been trying to leave my country for as long as I remember but this year my last option failed, good thing is that I found out that I can still move by joining a language school, I think I can save that money in around 2 years, but I’m afraid that may be already too late since I won’t have any money saved for when I’m old, any property, or any connections

Edit: I would be moving either to Japan to study the language as a first option, or Spain to study a master if that makes more sense, but I’m open to other options

My husband immigrated from Brazil to Canada in his 30s and has been able to successfully build his life here. Of course there are downsides to immigrating later in life but there are also upsides, like being more mature, having more education/work experience and potentially some savings.

Out of your options Spain sounds like a way better fit unless in Japan you would have a clear path to a job/career after learning the language

It’s always easier to come back home than it is to leave. In other words, the downside to going probably isn’t that bad. On the other hand, the upside could be enormous.
