- Has anyone on this board done a retirement visa with Argentina? If so, what was your experience?
- What is a good price in USD to buy a country property in Argentina? We have 28 1/2 acres here in the US and wonder what the cost equivalent would be there?
- Has anyone brought rifles and/or shotguns into the country when they moved? If so, what was your experience? Are there limitations on what weapons you can own? What about stuff like scopes, sights, thermal, NODS, etc.?
Sounds like it’ll be an idyllic retirement in a very relaxing new country 🤣
Especially once the latest clown removes the central bank, among other institutions
Going to be a veryyyy bumpy ride for the locals, though probably their only chance at salvation.
On the other hand I’m sure it’d be plenty comfortable for a foreign couple coming in with USD and the right mindset.
Pretty sure it’s not possible to own guns here though the new president wants to change that.
Don’t have a clue on country property prices but in Buenos Aires the prices are extremely cheap. The biggest issue is figuring out how to get your US$ into the country to pay for real estate. Also have heard that there could be issues with title fraud.
i bought 3 guns in 1 month ( two glocks 17 gen 5 and 1 semi auto 12 gauge Hatsan shotgun) :o
Huh. Apparently guns are legal, but a lot of hoops. (Gun ownership is not really a thing here)
There are Argentina Reddits that can possibly help with your questions.
