1 year agoI wouldn’t shy away from smaller private universities if you have good grades or play a sport. I got enough academic scholarships to basically get a full tuition paid for at a private catholic university.
Most Americans won’t get a master’s degree or at least won’t get one before working for a few years anyways. I’d move somewhere you think you might enjoy and start gaining job experience.
For young adults without kids, at least in my experience, the premiums are lower than the max one might pay in Germany. I love how easy it is to get appointments here tbh. Germany was always a waiting game unless it was urgent. Specialists are easier to get in Switzerland. It doesn’t seem like the medical staff shortage is as high in CH compared to DE as well.
