I’m from California and when Australians start speaking, I just nod my head…because I don’t know what the eff they’re saying. One guy started speaking to me and I didn’t realize he was from Australia. I was serious when I asked him if he knew English.

Yeah, I had a similar feeling, so five years ago after my kids went to university and I got divorced, I left the best place in California and visited Thailand once. And then returned. And returned again. And am here most the time now … for the same reasons you mentioned. If you want to make it happen, put a plan in place and start working on it. You can do it. 👍
