Makes sense. Desirable countries such as USA and some others have closed their access. The only countries remaining are countries such as Germany. Lot of unhappy expats and immigrants here. But immigration is not a free market economy so have to suck it up. Are you also from India?
I’m Indian and came to Germany at a younger age than you. You are absolutely right and making the right decision. I wish I never stayed here this long. Country made me depressed too.
I highly doubt that the success (personally and professionally) Indians achieved in other countries can be replicated in Germany for the reasons you mentioned.
Access to English speaking countries is tough. If you can’t get into any of the English speaking countries, you can also explore expat hubs such as Dubai. Best luck. Good decision.
100% Met my German wife in U.K. I’m Indian national. I moved to Germany for her. Country didn’t suit me. Relationship is fine. But I struggled plenty. Now we are looking to leave Germany and move somewhere else. U.K was great for us, so not looking for greener pastures.
