I’m an American in Mexico City, this is the happiest I’ve been in all my 52 years

I left the US for Mexico City at age 50 and it’s resulted in an overall improvement of my well-being, My decision to move here however was made after having spent a month total living here after having visited a couple of times prior.

Living here in Mexico I think it safe to say that overall governments are corrupt to a degree (When Mexico City for example needs cops, they buy ‘em cheap for example) and that the rich anywhere will usually get their way. Moving anywhere successfully of course requires a lot of research. Best of luck
