How Germans, during their birthdays, invite a bunch of people for dinner and drinks, then pay for the giant bill! What the fuck? The entire point of your birthday is to be the princess and to get a bunch of free shit.

I’m Canadian and I left last year to live in Germany. Love my country, but don’t stay there. Things are in bad condition and they will get much worse in 2024. Im so happy I got out when I did!

Don’t go to the UK. I lived there last year and post-Brexit, it was really fun down and expensive. I was shocked at how much London was nothing like I had imagined. Truly the worst place I’ve ever lived, although I love the Brits.
