I imagine you would know or will know soon since Mint hasn’t published anything about the change on their site but they did send out the marketing email. So Ultra might do the same. I just don’t get why they don’t offer both kinds of plans (the old and the new one). But I already switched carriers and started a chargeback, though not sure it will work.

I heard Google Fi kicks you off after 6 months, iirc. I switched to Tello and am happy with it. Exactly what I needed and just 5 bucks/mo

Well, I just spoke with Mint on their site’s chat, and they “don’t have a way to offer refunds”. Regardless, I won’t be spending $10 per SMS. Time to try a chargeback.
