The old Schengen shuffle is the beat way. Dont worry about working on a tourist visa, unless you’re deliberately trying to get in trouble by telling border guards you’ll be fine. My personal favourite for getting out the zone is Morocco. Some nice weather compared to much of Europe in winter and it’s perfectly safe.

Theres no wired / high speed network in Imsouane as far as I could tell when I was there last year at least. inwi was the most affordable sim deal and it had a strong signal in Imsouane. It was about $20 per month for ‘unlimited’ data. Unlimited means 4GB per day before it was throttled. Fine if you’re not a heavy user.
