I’m confused by this whole thread! I’ve only spent 4 years in France (and mostly in small towns), but I found French people to be basically the same as people anywhere - terms like “blasé” and “superiority complex” and even “obnoxious” surprise me!

I honestly wonder if OP is simply struggling to make new friends as an adult, like everyone everywhere :)
