it might only be because it’s the longest i’ve lived abroad, but Siena, Italy. i’ve never felt safer in my life. it was a bit racist tbh but it wasn’t necessarily a barrier so i noticed less. the pace of life, how nice it was getting to hang out w so many ppl from all over the world, the walkability was insane, and even more specifically, i loved my apartment and location and how easy i could get to all transportation to travel more. a dream truly, a beautiful city on a hill w so many lovely views. i could never forget.
