If you are living in the UK and working for a UK company, the UK is who you’ll pay taxes to. You just need to file your US tax paperwork as usual. You will have to declare your foreign income but unless it’s very high and/or you have $10k or more in the bank, you likely won’t owe anything to the US.

For my American husband it was Brexit. And I don’t blame him. Now we are moving to Texas 😭

I don’t think this is unique to Brits. My US husband moved to the UK and the American expats he found where we lived were the absolute worst. They did nothing but bitch and moan about how much they hated it there and how he would feel the same soon enough. Awful.
