I’ve been thinking about this for a while, that I’ve seen so many “expats” in here that are westerners moving from like America to Germany, or Canada to Australia, is that really being an expat? I’ll agree that when u move from a western country to the far east or Africa or whatever that’s really going outside your culture and that’s real expat-ism. But to go from France to the US or Switzerland to the UK isn’t the same as going from the US to a middle eastern country, or from the UK to Korea or something like that.
