Hello,

Looking for LGBTQ friendly countries that have decent left leaning people, good food, fun scene, nature, entertainment, quality of life. My wife (35F) & I (33F) are looking for recommendations. We have a sizeable nest egg, enough to move to almost anywhere & nice passive income. We would prefer to get a golden visa or something similar to get PR in that country but would need to keep our USC. We don’t need to work and our passive income will be coming in from the US. We will also keep our US residencies and go back annually. We are of eastern asian decent speak a few languages each. Not looking to work at other countries and can pay for healthcare in new country. We could also purchase in this new place so finding housing would be easier. We do travel a lot and would prefer a country we don’t have to be there most of the year. We like western countries or first world countries but are open to others. Thank you in advance.

If your concern is visa I think Thailand should fit the bill.

Most developed countries are out of the options since most of them have tight immigration, and since you are not working you are not going to be building permanent residency.

I believe you are at a very odd spot, you are rich enough to retire early but not rich enough to buy residency. Let’s say in Singapore you can actually have a residency if you have a family office but that requires like 200 millions. I don’t think you are at that bracket, but if you are, go for it, Singapore is a great home base to travel within Asia and it is pretty darn safe and well-managed.
