Honest question: what is the deal with sanitary towels in the US? They seem to be really big and really thick - I’ve tried Kotex, Always… they’re like nappies/diapers. And they don’t stick!

Can anyone recommend a brand that is more like what we would get in the UK? Slimline and where the wings actually stick please?

I’m a Stayfree Ultra Thin girl and always have been! Try those. Always and Kotex make me break out in a very itchy rash.

It’s the topsheet! (the layer that sits directly against your skin) And I’d bet good money it’s the “ultra dry” or whatever name they’re using now. It’s a known issue that a part of the population has a reaction to this specific type of topsheet but a significant part also prefers it, so they keep making it 乁( •_• )ㄏ

With the “soft touch” or “soft cotton” topsheet there is far less issues

This is fascinating! I thought it was just me - I always got a rash with pads. I’ve been using menstrual cups for years now and never want to go back to disposables.
