I had a job flagged to me by a recruiter who told me I’d be a good fit, it’s relocating from the UK to Dubai and it really got me thinking about the possibilities and I really think I could get the role as I have all the skills they’re after (although I won’t pack my bags until I get a contract through).
But, the biggest downside is this company is a series A start-up with a lot of backing meaning there is risk of job loss (more so then an established company). For people who have taken relocation jobs, what would you do if you were out of work? Do you keep a safety pot for money to aid you return back home?
What I want to know is where tf you’re finding these recruiters who offer to move you from one country another. The only recruiters who ever reach out to me on LinkedIn are for shit positions that won’t even do a temp sponsorship while you’re already inside the country
But I’d say definitely ask about job security and what your options are if you’re laid off or the job goes south.
First question: do yiu know anything about Dubai? Second question: do you want to live there?
