I’m considering relocating to Mexico, I like the food, the culture, the history. The medical system sounds good from what I hear (I’m 64). But there’s a problem: I don’t like hot weather. Is there anyplace in Mexico where the temperature rarely gets above 80 degrees or so in summer? (Cold in the winter isn’t a problem for me.) Ideally someplace with an expat American presence? Thanks for your suggestions and/or reporting on your experience!

Look at an elevation map of Mexico, then select a town that sits at a high altitude, such as higher than 3,000 ft.
