I’m considering relocating to Mexico, I like the food, the culture, the history. The medical system sounds good from what I hear (I’m 64). But there’s a problem: I don’t like hot weather. Is there anyplace in Mexico where the temperature rarely gets above 80 degrees or so in summer? (Cold in the winter isn’t a problem for me.) Ideally someplace with an expat American presence? Thanks for your suggestions and/or reporting on your experience!
San Miguel De Allende could suit you well - it has two months (April and May) when highs hit mid-80s, but the rest of the year highs vary between 70 and 80. Historically, it was the town that wealthy Mexicans went to when Mexico City was too hot. It also has a large population of American retirees.
