Hi! How’s everybody? In february I’m moving to Rotterdam because of my job. I’m from Argentina. I’m moving with my partner. She’s psychologist. Her english isn’t that well for her to work full sessions in english. So she’ll be aiming to latin and spanish talking persons.
Does anyone have a nice understanding how this kind of service works over there? How much is the tipical value of a 45min/60min session? She’ll present all the papers in order to have her diploma validated by NL Government. I’d apreciate any suggestions.
In adition, if you’re looking for a psychologist oriented to psychoanalysis and integral approach, with perinatal grief and maternity approach, feel free to reach me out. It will be nice for her to star having some contact before moving there. She’s okay with virtuality, so no country restriction.
Thanks!!
Psychologist isn’t a protected title in NL, so she can call herself that. But to become a BIG (registry for health care professionals)-registered psychologist, get referrals from GP’s, and for people to get their visit to your wife compensated by their health insurance, she would have to go through the procedure to have her foreign qualifications recognized, involving several exams, including on fluency in the Dutch language, which needs to be on near native level.
