It has to have summer, that is, 3 months of heat, not summer like in the United Kingdom or other northern European countries that have 2 weeks.

I don’t mind a hard winter, I tolerate the cold. But summer is important.

Rent should not be too high.

I want to be from the European Union because I have the right to work in those countries.

That it has good salaries.

North of Italy, but summers might be longer than 3 months. Rent isn’t too high if you don’t want to live in any particularly hip neighbourhoods/towns, next to monuments or in Milan. This might mean commuting to work - unless you work remotely.

If you have the right skills - including networking skills - in Italy you can make more money than what is commonly believed. And, again if you have the right skills, you can always work remotely for a Northern European country.
