I just traveled internationally for a month and I want to do my Global Entry interview on arrival. Would this make me suspicious to them, given I’m younger and they would want to know how in paying for the trip? I work remotely and I have my work laptop with me for “unrelated purposes”, but I am on a Sabbatical if anyone asks. Does anyone have experience with the interview? Should I be stressed about it or avoid the interview for a bit? If they’ll ask now, I’m sure they’d ask again when I schedule in the future. Then should I just stick with TSA pre check or am I being paranoid? Thanks so much in advance for the guidance.

I guess different people have different experiences, but my “interview” was not an interview at all. I don’t think they asked me a single question. I just showed up, showed them my ID and they took my photo. I think you’re overthinking this a bit and you should be fine.
