I just traveled internationally for a month and I want to do my Global Entry interview on arrival. Would this make me suspicious to them, given I’m younger and they would want to know how in paying for the trip? I work remotely and I have my work laptop with me for “unrelated purposes”, but I am on a Sabbatical if anyone asks. Does anyone have experience with the interview? Should I be stressed about it or avoid the interview for a bit? If they’ll ask now, I’m sure they’d ask again when I schedule in the future. Then should I just stick with TSA pre check or am I being paranoid? Thanks so much in advance for the guidance.

No. Why would it be a concern?

DHS and the US do not care at all if you’re violating some other countries labour laws.

Also, what’s younger? Like 18? They might have different questions, but if you are conditionally approved, you have little to worry about.

Foreign Nationals can even get Global Entry.

I renewed mine with just the form, no interview or anything.
