I’m a non-EU national with a Portuguese residence permit. I am travelling to Switzerland from outside of Europe and will leave soon after to another country outside of Europe. What documents do I need to carry to enter Switzerland? Is my passport and residence permit sufficient?

PS: I am brown and from a country that ordinarily requires a schengen visa.

You don’t need anything. You’re entering a Schengen area and you have a valid Schengen zone RP. It’s just like you’re entering Portugal. So, chill.

Thank you! I was always question a lot in Switzerland and Germany when I was traveling on a Schengen Visa so was a bit nervous. Thanks for clarifying it.
