Which countries have a general attitude of gratefulness and appreciation in that sense? I especially mean about work/career/business rather than personal life.

The US does seem to have a healthier mentality when it comes to celebrating success and work, compared to the UK and other European countries. Sometimes it’s even in the extremes with idolization of rich and succesful people.
You rarely see that over here in Europe. I feel like in a lot of countries they just expect you to do the bare minimum otherwise you’ll make them feel bad, and everyone wants to complain about being in a shit situation. It’s not always that pronounced, obviously.
Europe also just doesn’t feel like a place that really welcomes innovation or starting a business. Some countries more than others. Way too much beaurocracy, and higher taxes.
On the other hand if you do fail you’re not very likely to end up on the street. So there’s pro’s and con’s to everything.
