Which countries have a general attitude of gratefulness and appreciation in that sense? I especially mean about work/career/business rather than personal life.

    Finland.

    Not financially appreciated as in it gets you big salaries and bonuses, but you’re left to do your job. You get the responsibility that comes with the tasks. Management is leading, but you’re the one “in charge” of what you do. Your boss trust you to know what you are doing. I think that’s a very important form of appreciation of your talent.
