With the banging victory of PVV this morning, it seems to me like far-right parties are winning in European countries one after one, along with their anti-‘expat’ sentiment. It obviously makes me a bit sad and worried, even more so when I browse Dutch-related subreddits and seems that non-Western students and high-skilled workers are no longer welcome in the Netherlands and Europe.
I really love Europe and intend to build my life here in - Denmark, and things are still going alright here so far for Asian expats. How is it going in your place and do you have any plan B?
As always; integrate a little, don’t be a dick and you’ll be fine. The only real message is to do something about those that cross 12 borders to a culture they don’t respect and without contributing to their new society.
