With the banging victory of PVV this morning, it seems to me like far-right parties are winning in European countries one after one, along with their anti-‘expat’ sentiment. It obviously makes me a bit sad and worried, even more so when I browse Dutch-related subreddits and seems that non-Western students and high-skilled workers are no longer welcome in the Netherlands and Europe.

I really love Europe and intend to build my life here in - Denmark, and things are still going alright here so far for Asian expats. How is it going in your place and do you have any plan B?

In America, you’d be called a far-right extremist and fascist, and as an American in Korea, I agree with you.

Yup I know. I’ve been called that here in Europe too until they see me and they see that I don’t look white at all and then their heads explode because they don’t know what to say/do. They’re full idiots.

Haha They’re probably thinking, “You’re supposed to be oppressed. How dare you think that way!” Even though Korea has plenty of Leftists, I love that there are just two genders here, children aren’t taken to drag shows, teachers aren’t teaching LGBTQ stuff to kindergarteners, etc.
