I would get rid of my US number completely, however, i have so many different accounts with 2FA. I hear google phone works, but if youre not in the US at least once a year they can deactivate your account.

My plan is to keep my number for 2FA purposes, and get a local sim for everything else. Right now we are paying for international package and its killing us.
