Hi everyone! I’m hoping to travel throughout all of asia, practically, and was wondering what phones will work everywhere(South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Australia)? I want to spend 2 months or so in each country, and will be using local sims, but I saw reports that some won’t support all 4g/5g bands, as well as region-locked feauteres. I’ll be mostly reliant on cellular, so what is everyone’s recommendation on what phone will be the most supported?

Your safest bet is probably an iPhone. Theoretically, any phone that supports both CDMA and GSM networks should work everywhere. I’ve used my unlocked iPhone 11 all over the world with zero issues over the last 4 years.
