Finishing my Master’s Thesis in Mechanical Engineering in Turin, Italy (Erasmus program from Portugal, from Porto).
Is it worth looking for a job in Turin or is someone better off in Porto with family support?
What are you guys opinions?
Since you are from Portugal, you know how the pay goes, unless you apply to jobs there, and hope that the money is acceptable, I’d stay in Italy, especially if pay is where it should be for your degree
It is slightly better but to be honest i am not sure if slightly better is enough for me to leave all my life behind
Why aren’t you considering other options like Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, etc.? The pay will be much higher than in Portugal and Italy.
Very true! I have this opportunity simply and thinking if i accept or not. Indeed the salaries would be better on those countries!
