In China some people wash their underwear by hand and won’t let flatmates put theirs in the machine. They think it’s not clean or something…
yes indeed, that is a thing. I think they don’t trust laundry detergent or or fail to understand how soap works. Also laundry is almost always done with cold water. And yet, kitchen hygiene and food handling is dangerous. Leaving cut vegetables out overnight, etc.
