I can’t really talk to anyone about this.
As I already wrote, I just feel bad in the cold and darkness. I’ve tried everything but it just doesn’t work.
I live in Germany btw.
I can only live properly for a few months a year, then the whole thing starts over again.
Why southern Italy?
I come from the coast of Croatia, which has a lot of Italian influences, which I have always liked and because it is warm all year round in the south of Italy.
Furthermore, I just like it there, I can’t really describe it.
I don’t want to go to Croatia anymore, I’m fed up with the Balkans.
I just wanted to get this off my chest, for many people something like this is probably completely unthinkable but I’m not getting any younger either.
I did. I lived in Sicily for 25 years. Winters are mild, and a lot sunnier and drier than north Italy, let alone north Europe.
It is not unheard of to go for a stroll by the beach for Christmas.
I don’t know how many time you’ve been in southern Italy over the course of winter, but one year of bad weather is definitely not the same as “it’s always shit there”.
Saying that winters in southern Italy are cold just shows that you don’t know much about the actual local weather.
where did i say “it’s always shit there”? oh, right, i didn’t. i said it was absolute shit while i was there for a few weeks, hence the suggestion that OP check it out themselves.
